What are digital products and how does purchasing them work?
Digital products are non-physical items (like online courses, videos, or ebooks) that you can buy and access entirely online. Purchasing a digital product from our shop works just like buying any other item, with a few key differences:
- Find the digital course or content you want and add it to your cart. There’s no shipping involved since it’s not a physical item.
- Complete the checkout process by entering your payment details and placing the order. No shipping address is required for digital goods. Once payment is confirmed, the order is finalized.
- Immediately after purchase, you get access to the digital content – there’s no waiting for delivery. The confirmation page will provide a link or button to view your purchase right away, and you’ll also receive a confirmation email. Since the product is digital, nothing will be mailed to you; instead, you can view or download the content on our website as soon as you’ve paid.
In summary: Buying a digital product is quick and convenient – just pay, and enjoy your content instantly online. If you run into any issues seeing your content after purchase, let us know and we’ll help (but this is rare, as access is usually automatic).
How do I access the digital content I’ve purchased?
After completing your purchase, accessing your digital content is simple. Typically, there are a couple of ways to get to your content:
- Once your order is placed, you’ll be redirected to an order confirmation page. On that page, you should see a “Download” button or a link to your digital product. Clicking that will take you directly to the course or item you bought. In all cases, the digital content is available immediately for either viewing or downloading on our site as soon as payment goes through.
- If you have an account with us (see Account questions below), you can log in and access your purchase anytime. After logging in, navigate to your user dashboard. There you’ll find all the digital products you’ve bought. Just click on the title of the course or product to view it.
- We also send a confirmation email after purchase. In that email, you may receive a direct link to access your digital product.
Do I need to download anything? In most cases, no download is needed to view the content. The courses or videos will play right in your web browser on our site. If any product includes supplementary files (like PDFs or guides), those might be downloadable, but the main content is typically accessed online.
Tip: Bookmark our site and log in whenever you want to view your purchases. Once purchased, the content remains available to you (with no expiration, as noted later) – so you can start now or come back later, as you prefer.
What payment methods do you accept?
We want to make checkout easy by supporting all major payment methods. You can pay for your digital products using:
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and most other major card brands. Just enter your card details at checkout as usual.
- If you prefer to pay through your PayPal account, you can choose PayPal at checkout. This lets you pay via balance, bank account, or card saved in your PayPal. (PayPal is a popular, secure option for those who don’t want to directly use a card.)

All payments on our site are processed securely and encrypted. We do not store your full credit card details – that is handled by the secure payment gateway (Shopify/PayPal) for your safety. No extra fees are charged for any payment method (apart from the order total you see).
If you run into any trouble during checkout (e.g., a card getting declined or an error with PayPal), double-check that your details are correct. You can also try a different payment method. And of course, you can contact us if the issue persists, and we’ll help figure it out.
What is your refund policy for digital products?
Digital products (like online videos or courses) are different from physical goods – once you have access to them, they can’t really be “returned.” For this reason, all sales of digital products are generally final. We do not offer refunds once a digital order is completed and the content has been delivered to you. This policy is common for digital content providers, since you can’t un-see or give back a video or PDF after it’s been accessed.
However, our priority is your satisfaction. If you experience a technical problem with the content – for example, if a video file is corrupted, or you accidentally got charged twice, or you simply can’t access what you purchased – please reach out to us. While we can’t promise a refund in every case, we will do our best to resolve any issues so you get the product you paid for. In some situations (such as a duplicate purchase of the same item, or a genuine error), we may provide a refund or credit as an exception.
To summarize:

- check out as a guest, you’ll receive an email receipt. To view your content, you’ll likely be prompted to create a password for an account. We link your purchase to the email you provided at checkout, so by setting a password for that email (i.e., creating an account), you can log in and see your purchase. (If you ignore the account setup, you might not have a convenient way to get back to your content later!)
- create an account or log in at checkout, your purchase is instantly available in your account. You can simply log in to our website anytime to re-watch or re-download (if applicable) your digital products.
In short, an account is needed to access your digital products on our site in the long term. It’s possible to buy without one, but you’ll end up needing to make one to enjoy the content you paid for. Creating an account is free and easy – just use the same email address you used for purchase, and choose a password.
Benefits of an account: All your courses/content will be in one place, you can track your progress (if the course has progress tracking), and you won’t have to hunt through emails for links. Your account also allows you to make future purchases faster.
Privacy note: Your account info is kept secure, and we never share your email or personal details. It’s only used to provide you access to your stuff and to contact you about your orders when necessary.
I forgot my password or can’t log into my account – what should I do?
Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us! If you can’t log in because you forgot your password (or username/email), here are the steps to regain access:
- On the login page, click the “Forgot password?” link. Enter the email address you used for your account, and our system will send you a password reset email automatically.
- Within a few minutes, you should get an email from our site with a link to reset your password. (If you don’t see it, check your Spam/Junk folder just in case.) Click the reset link in that email.
- The link will take you to a secure page where you can choose a new password for your account. Pick a strong password that you haven’t used before, enter it twice to confirm, and submit.
- Now return to the login page and sign in using your email and the new password you set. You should now have access to your account and all your purchases again.
If you follow the above steps and still can’t log in (for example, if the reset email never arrived, or you no longer have access to the email account you used), please contact us for help. We can verify your identity and manually assist with restoring access to your account if needed.
Tips: Make sure you’re using the correct email address (sometimes people have multiple emails and might be trying the wrong one). The password reset email typically comes within seconds, but in some cases it may take a few minutes – and remember to check spam/promotions folders. Our email will have our store name in it, so it should be recognizable.
Rest assured, your digital purchases are still safe. Even if you can’t log in this moment, once you reset the password successfully, you’ll find all your content intact in your account.
What devices or software do I need to view the digital content?
One of the great things about our digital products is that they’re accessible on almost any modern device – you don’t need special software or expensive equipment. If you’re reading this, you likely already have everything you need! Here are the basics:

- Since the content has to be downloaded, you’ll need an internet connection to get them. Once you've downloaded them, you can put it on any device and can watch it offline, and as often as you want.
- There’s no separate app you must install – everything runs through the browser.
- If any content is in PDF format, any standard PDF reader (which many browsers have built-in) will open it. For other file types (if provided), we’ll ensure they are in common formats with instructions if needed.
- If your content includes video or audio, make sure your device has sound output (speakers or headphones) so you can hear it. For the best experience with instructional videos, a larger screen (like a tablet or computer) can be helpful, but it’s not required – you can definitely watch on a phone, just maybe turn it sideways for full-screen 😉.

How long do I have access to the purchased content?
Once you’ve purchased a digital product from us, it’s yours – with no expiration. You will have ongoing access to that content for as long as our shop is operating. In other words, your access doesn’t expire after a certain time. You can log back in next week, next month, or even years from now and still re-download or re-read the content you bought.
We believe that if you paid for a course or digital item, you should be able to revisit it whenever you want. This is great for learning at your own pace. For example, you might buy a pool training course now but only have time to go through it in depth a few months later – and that’s completely fine. It’ll be ready and waiting in your account.
A few notes on access duration:
- We use the term lifetime to mean for the life of the product and our business. As long as we exist and have the rights to provide the content, you will have access to it.
- If we update or add new material to a product you already bought, you usually get those updates free of charge. Your access covers the course as it evolves. We might even notify you if a course has been expanded with new lessons, so you can log back in and check them out.
- In the unlikely event that a product must be retired or removed (for instance, due to licensing issues or the content being completely revamped into a new paid version), we will inform you. In such cases, we’d strive to ensure you’re not left hanging – perhaps by offering an alternative or a generous discount to a new version. But to be clear, we have no plans to remove access to purchased content; that’d be a last resort scenario.
- The only reason you could lose access is if your account is terminated for violating terms (for example, someone attempting to illegally share content might have their access revoked). But for our honest customers, access is guaranteed. Keep your account in good standing and you’ll always have what you paid for.

- You also find a contact form on our website’s contact page. Submissions through that form also come to our email. It’s up to you whether you prefer your own email or the form – both go to the same place.
- Sharivari also has a Patreon community. If you are coming from Patreon or have a question related to that, you can message there too. However, for store-related queries, email is still the quickest route.
- At this time, we do not offer phone support. Being a small digital business, email allows us to keep a record of communications and respond thoughtfully. We find we can usually resolve issues via email very effectively.
When contacting us, please include any relevant info like your order number or the email you used to purchase, and a clear description of your question or issue. This helps us help you faster.
