In my latest YouTube video, I discuss why many skilled players fail to ascend from good to great. I've noticed that these players often believe they have mastered all the strategic aspects of the game.

When mistakes are made, they typically attribute them to mental lapses, a lack of focus, or poor execution of a shot. In reality, the issue often lies in their decision to play a shot that offers lower success percentages than an alternative would have.

In the YouTube video, I presented a Straight Pool scenario where this precise issue occurred. Neither of the two players acknowledged that they had chosen the incorrect shot. Instead, they insisted that they usually execute it better. The truth was, they simply chose the wrong shot.

In this bonus video we attempt to complete the rack of Straight Pool together and observe how it unfolds, which shots we choose, and the potential  challenges we might face.
