I’ve coached hundreds of players myself - but this time, I switched roles.
When I visited Joshua and Pia Filler to help film some content for their KillerFillers YouTube channel, it wasn’t even planned for me to be in front of the camera. But I had my cue with me (as always), and we spontaneously decided to play a couple of racks and see what happens.
What happened? Joshua casually turned it into a full-on coaching session. He’s not just a machine when it comes to execution, he’s also an incredible teacher. What I thought would be a solid run quickly turned into a real lesson in what pro-level pool actually looks like.
From cue ball control to pattern choices, spin reactions on slick cloth, and the difference between “good enough” and “exact”, this session exposes gaps in many players games.
Did I play well? Not really. I probably missed 80% of my shots 😅 But we kept the very first two takes, because I like to keep it real. If you want to see how the best in the world thinks through a rack, this one's worth watching.

There’s already great stuff on their channel, and this is just the beginning. Joshua, Pia, and I have a lot more in the works.
Cheers,
